LETS COLLABORATE....... with the
THE MOLLI FROCK INITIATIVE
Big heart is bringing its first shipment in from South Africa. And we have found that there is the most amazing white 200TC 100% cotton waste in the workshop. I thought - this needs to be put to good use.
I have decided to add this to my production of my ever popular Molli Frock - sizes 1 to 5 years in the white waste. I have approached makers, creatives, sewers, artists from all over the world.
The dress is starting in South Africa with creatives there. The idea is that you the creative take the dress and embellish where ever your creative juices take you. The only thing I ask of you is to please document your making - in video and pictures as many as you can manage - social media is a hungry animal. I have a very talented Creative Director who will put it all together as a group for us all to use on our own platforms and of course tagging each other and spreading the collaboration love. Each garment will be signed, dated and your Instagram details. The video will be distributed to all who participates and everyone will be tagged - A great way to spread our network and share by collaboration.
The South African garments will be finished in South Africa and added to the next inbound shipment. When my shipment arrives I will distribute the the white Molli Frock to the creatives in United Kingdom and rest of the world.
These frocks are not for sale at this point, and will be used as a collaborative network item. but who knows, perhaps we can raise money for charity, display them as an exhibition, who knows where the Molli Frock will take us...
I am looking to get people involved , possibly with doing exhibitions - getting magazines on board, influences and people who just LOVE what we are doing. I just know that social media is here to stay. Get your Instagram up and ready...
If you know anyone anywhere in the world that would be interested in taking part and has creativity ready to be oozed onto a Molli Frock, please get hold of me on: email@example.com
I am very excited about this initiative and cannot wait to join networks, get people working together and creating amazing creative groups.
Remember it's all about the journey... how a piece of white scrap fabric on the factory floor got to a beautiful piece of creativity.
Creatives that are coming on board: CLICK ON THEIR IMAGES AND YOU WILL GO TO THEIR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS AND SEE WHAT THEY ARE UP TO.
